Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to make this Chanel Camellia necklace for a while now, and I finally decided to do it. It all started when I saw the beautiful camellia blooms on the official website. Those delicate flowers, perfectly formed and set with diamonds, they just spoke to me.

First, I spent some time looking at different Chanel Camellia pieces online. I found some good deals, which gave me ideas for what I wanted. I was really drawn to the necklaces with the camellia pendants. I mean they’re so iconic, right?
Then, I got down to figuring out how to make my own version. I knew I couldn’t use real diamonds, but I wanted something that still looked elegant. I did a bit of research on where to source materials. I wanted to make sure everything was good quality, but also not, like, crazy expensive. It’s important to me that the things I use are, you know, ethical.
Getting My Hands Dirty
Next up, I started gathering my materials. I found these beautiful pearls and some other white stones that I thought would work well as a substitute for the diamonds. I decided to use a gold-colored chain because I saw a vintage Chanel necklace from 1997 with a gold chain and a pearl camellia flower, and I loved that look.
The actual crafting process was… well, it was a process. I’m not going to lie. Putting it all together took some time. I had to be really careful attaching the stones to the camellia form. It was a little tricky, but I got there. I did lose a couple of stones along the way. Let’s just say there were a few close calls, but I managed to get it all together in the end.
My Thoughts
Honestly, it turned out even better than I expected! It’s got that classic Chanel vibe, and I’m really happy with how the stones and the chain look together. Plus, I made it myself, which makes it even more special. I know it will hold its value. Not just the cost of the materials, but also the sentimental value, you know?

- I learned a lot making this necklace.
- It was fun picking out the materials.
- Putting it together was challenging but worth it.
- I love how it looks!
This was such a fun project. I’m already thinking about what I want to make next. Maybe a ring this time? We’ll see!
