Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Charlotte Tilbury palette, the “Luxury Palette – The Queen of Glow.” I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, you know? Everyone’s always raving about her stuff, from that “Flawless Filter” to the “Pillow Talk” lipstick. I figured it was time to jump in and see if it lives up to the hype.

First, I gotta say, the packaging is pretty nice. It feels kinda luxurious, which, I guess, is the point, right? I picked this one up because I was looking for something to give me that, like, sun-kissed, glowy look. You know, that “just got back from a tropical vacation” vibe, even though I haven’t left my house in weeks.
I started by prepping my skin. Used some moisturizer and primer, the usual stuff. Then I went in with the “Prime” shade in the palette. It’s a light, shimmery champagne color. I put that all over my lid as a base. Super easy to blend, I just used my finger. I gotta say, I don’t find many such easy-to-use eye shadows, most of them need a brush to apply, but with this, you can just do it with your finger.
Next, I used the “Enhance” shade, which is a warm, reddish-brown. I used a fluffy brush and blended that into my crease to give some definition. I was actually surprised by how pigmented it was. A little goes a long way! I kept it pretty light, though, because I didn’t want anything too dramatic, after all, I want to make it seem like I’m not wearing any makeup, that’s how I really get that natural glow.
Then came the fun part – the “Smoke” shade. It’s a deep, chocolatey brown with a bit of shimmer. I used a smaller brush and carefully applied it to my outer corner, blending it upwards and outwards. This really added some depth and made my eyes pop. I also smudged a little along my lower lash line to balance it out, using the brush to blend out.
Finally, I popped the “Pop” shade, a glittery gold, right in the center of my lid with my fingertip. Oh. My. Goodness. This shade is seriously stunning. It’s super sparkly and just makes the whole look come alive. I also added a tiny bit to my inner corner to brighten things up. This color is really something, I don’t think I can easily find a substitute color from other brands.

- Prime: Light champagne shimmer, used all over the lid.
- Enhance: Warm, reddish-brown, used in the crease.
- Smoke: Deep, chocolatey brown with shimmer, used on the outer corner and lower lash line.
- Pop: Glittery gold, used on the center of the lid and inner corner.
I finished off the look with some mascara and a little bit of bronzer and highlighter. Honestly, I was really impressed with how it turned out. It’s definitely a glowy look, but it’s not over the top. It’s perfect for everyday wear or for a special occasion. This palette is really worth the price.
The Verdict
So, is the Charlotte Tilbury “Luxury Palette – The Queen of Glow” worth the hype? In my opinion, yes! It’s a beautiful palette with high-quality, pigmented shadows that are easy to blend. It’s versatile enough for different looks, and the “Pop” shade is a real showstopper. I can see myself reaching for this palette a lot. Also, I’ve heard that the “Walk of Shame” lipstick is a must-try, so maybe I’ll check that out next. You know, just keep exploring and finding what works for me, like we all do.
