Okay, so, I recently got my hands on this fragrance called Aoud Lemon Mint by Mancera. I heard it’s a pretty popular one, so I was really curious to try it out. I found it online, and, you know, I had to have it, so I just blind-bought it. I mean, why not? Live a little, right?

First off, let me just say, the packaging is pretty standard for Mancera. It’s this tall, cylindrical bottle. If you’ve seen one Mancera bottle, you’ve pretty much seen them all. But hey, it’s what’s inside that counts, right?
So, I sprayed it on, and let me tell you, the first whiff I got was this blast of Sicilian lemon. It was really strong and zesty. Along with that, I could smell some black pepper, which gave it a bit of a spicy kick. There was also this hint of coriander and, surprisingly, almond. It was an interesting mix, to say the least. The almond was a nice touch, though. I didn’t expect that.
As it settled down, I started to notice the oud. Now, I was expecting the oud to be a bit more prominent, especially since it’s in the name of the fragrance, but it was actually pretty subtle. It wasn’t overpowering at all, which was kind of nice. It’s there, but it’s not, like, in your face, you know?
Honestly, I didn’t really get any mint. I mean, it’s called “Aoud Lemon Mint,” but where’s the mint? Maybe it’s just my skin chemistry or something, but I just couldn’t detect it. Maybe it was hiding, but I looked everywhere. I even asked my wife if she could smell it but got nothing from her, too.
I wore this fragrance for a few days to really get a feel for it. I gotta say, it lasted a decent amount of time. On my skin, it was around 8 to 10 hours. And on my clothes? It lingered for like 2 days. So, the performance is definitely there.

After testing it out, I get why it’s called Aoud Lemon Mint. It’s versatile. It’s fresh enough for the spring and summer, but it also has this warmth that would work in colder weather. It’s like, the best of both worlds.
Overall, I’d say Aoud Lemon Mint is a solid fragrance. I think it would be a good option if you’re looking for something that’s unique but still wearable. The price is also not too bad for what you’re getting. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s not going to break the bank either. If you’re into citrusy scents with a bit of a twist, you might want to give this one a try. But if you’re expecting a strong minty scent, you might be disappointed. Just sayin’!
