Yo, listen up, I gotta tell you about this Jamal Murray and his shoes, these 2002r things. He’s a big shot, plays that basketball. I seen him on the TV, jumpin’ around, makin’ those baskets. He’s with that New Balance, I seen that. Since like, 2020, or somethin’. That’s what they say, anyway.
He plays for that team, you know, the one with the… the Nuggets. Yeah, that’s it. Denver Nuggets. He’s been playin’ real good, used to, anyway. Now, not so much. He’s been missin’ more. Used to make most of ’em, now he misses like, way more than half. He’s slippin’, I reckon. Still a big name, though, this Jamal Murray 2002r, even if his shootin’ ain’t what it was.
I seen he got hurt the other day. Poor fella. Some other fella, big fella, bumped into him. Got him right in the nose. They say he was cuttin’ through, you know, like a knife through butter, and then BAM! Shoulder to the nose. Ouch. That’s gotta hurt, right? Hope he gets better soon. I like watchin’ him play, even if he is missin’ more these days.

I don’t know much about shoes, I wear my old ones ’til they fall apart, but these Jamal Murray 2002r shoes, they seem to be a big deal. They probably cost a pretty penny, too. More than I’d ever spend on shoes, that’s for sure.
They say these COP thing is important. I don’t know what that is. Somethin’ about the world and the air and stuff. They call it climate. Whatever that means. They say it’s important, so I guess it is. This year it’s in some place called Cali. In, uh, Colombia. Sounds hot. They say there’s gonna be a bunch of people there, talkin’ about this climate stuff. Important people, government people. They wear suits and talk a lot.
This Jamal Murray, though, he don’t wear no suit. He wears shorts and a tank top. And those New Balance 2002r shoes. He jumps around and throws that ball. Makes a lot of money doin’ it, too. I don’t rightly understand that, but, hey, good for him. I’d rather watch him play than those folks in suits talkin’ about the climate, though they say it’s the most important thing in the world.
They say this climate thing, this COP, it’s the United Nations. Sounds important. It’s like, all the countries get together and talk. Like a big family meetin’, but with countries instead of cousins. They probably argue a lot, just like a family. I wonder if they bring food? Probably not, probably just talk and talk and talk. I heard that COP stands for that Conference of the Parties. It’s like a party but they talk about important stuff.
Anyways, this Jamal Murray, he’s somethin’ else. Even if he ain’t been shootin’ so good lately, people still like him. And those shoes, those 2002r things, they’re popular too. Maybe it’s ’cause he wears ’em. Maybe they’re just good shoes. I don’t know. I just know what I see on the TV. And I see him, jumpin’ around, makin’ those baskets, wearin’ those shoes.

And there’s that COP thing, that climate thing, that’s important, they say. I guess that’s all I got to say about that. I reckon I’ll go watch some more TV now. Maybe see some more of that Jamal Murray, jumpin’ around. He’s fun to watch, that one.

I told ’em, “You work hard, you can buy your own fancy shoes!” That’s what I always say. Those shoes are like, the thing now. They are probably more popular than the COP thing.
