Okay, here is my sharing about making a Mickey Mouse purse:

So, I’ve been seeing these Mickey Mouse purses everywhere lately, and I thought, “I gotta get me one of those!” They’re just too cute, right? But the thing is, some of them can be a bit pricey, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit to such an eye-catching fashion. Plus, I kinda like making things myself – it’s a good way to kill time.
I started looking around online for some ideas. I saw some with Mickey’s face on them, some with just his ears, and some that were just generally Disney-themed. I even saw one that said “Walt Disney World” on it, which was pretty cool, but I wanted something more specific to just Mickey.
I decided to go with a design that features Mickey’s iconic face. I figured that would be the most recognizable. But I didn’t want it to be too cartoony, you know? I wanted something a little more… I don’t know, stylish? I mean as stylish as a Mickey purse can be.
- First, I needed to find a plain black purse to use as a base. I found one at a thrift store for like five bucks. Score!
- Then I sketched out Mickey’s face on some paper until I got it just right.
- After I was happy with the design, I cut out the different parts of his face from some different colored felt – black for the head and ears, red for the tongue, and white for the eyes and the smile.
- I used some fabric glue to attach all the pieces to the purse. It was a bit tricky to get everything lined up perfectly, but I think I did a pretty good job.
Finally, I added a little red bow to one of the ears, just for a little extra something. Because why not? Every Mickey needs a Minnie, even if she’s just represented by a bow!
The Result
And that’s it! My very own, one-of-a-kind Mickey Mouse purse. I’m actually really happy with how it turned out. It’s cute, it’s unique, and it was way cheaper than buying one of those designer ones. Plus, I had a lot of fun making it. I might even make a few more for my friends for the holidays, they liked it a lot when I showed it to them. It’s the perfect thing to show off my love of Disney, without being too over the top. What do you guys think?
