So, I was messing around with this “LA Thieves” thing the other day. Let me tell you, it was a trip. First off, I had to figure out what the heck it even was. I mean, “thieves” is pretty obvious, right? Someone who jacks stuff. But “LA Thieves”? I did a little digging, and it turns out it’s some kind of professional esports team. Who knew?

Anyway, I started by trying to understand what these guys do. Apparently, they play “Call of Duty” for a living. That’s a video game, for those of you living under a rock. They compete in tournaments and stuff, and people actually watch them play. It’s crazy, I know.
I watched some of their matches online. These guys are good, like, really good. They’re quick, they’re accurate, and they work together like a well-oiled machine. It’s kind of mesmerizing, to be honest. I even started to get into it a little. Cheering for them, yelling at the screen, the whole nine yards.
- First Steps: I watched some of their old matches to see what the fuss was about.
- Getting into It: I actually started to understand the game and even picked a favorite player.
- Full Fan Mode: I found myself checking their schedule and tuning in to live streams.
I tried playing the game myself. Let’s just say I’m not going pro anytime soon. It’s a lot harder than it looks. These guys make it look so easy, but it’s not. Trust me.
After a while, I realized I was spending way too much time on this. It was fun, but I had other things to do. So, I decided to take a break. But I have to admit, I’m still curious about what they’re up to. I might even check out their next match. Who knows?
What I found out
So that’s my “LA Thieves” adventure. It was a wild ride, and I learned a lot. Turns out, there’s a whole world out there that I had no idea existed. And it’s pretty darn interesting.

It is kind of like those thief movies and the theif novels, but it is totally different. Maybe I will try it again next time.
