Okay, so I tried out this “coquette aesthetic makeup” thing. It sounded kinda fancy, but it’s basically about looking all cute and girly, you know? I wanted to see if I could pull it off, so I did some digging, watched a few videos, and then just went for it.
First, I started with my skin. The whole point is to look fresh and, like, glowy. I washed my face, slapped on some moisturizer. I made sure my under-eye area was nice and bright – that’s a big part of this look.
Next up, the eyes. They said to use light, shimmery eyeshadows, so I grabbed a palette with some pinks and pearly shades. I blended a soft pink all over my lids and then added a touch of shimmer to the inner corners. Then I lined my upper lash line with a brown eyeliner, keeping it thin and close to the lashes. I messed up a couple of times and had to clean it up with a cotton swab. I finished with a coat of mascara.
For the cheeks, I went with a rosy pink blush. I applied it to the apples of my cheeks, blending it upwards towards my temples. I put a little extra because I figured, why not?
Finally, the lips. The videos I watched said to use a pinky-nude lipstick or a lip gloss. I opted for a glossy lip tint in a soft rose shade. I think it looks cute.

So, yeah, that’s pretty much it. It was fun to try something new, even though it took me longer than my usual routine. I felt kinda cute and girly, which was the whole point, I guess. It’s definitely not an everyday look for me, but maybe I’ll do it again sometime when I’m feeling extra.
