Alright, so the other day I was scrolling through my LinkedIn feed, just doing my usual thing, and I stumbled upon this guy named Kyle Blakely. His profile popped up, and it said he’s working at Under Armour, based in Clarksville, and has like 500+ connections. I thought, “Okay, interesting, another person in the corporate world.”
Then, because, you know, curiosity and all that, I hopped onto Facebook. Typed in “Kyle Blakely” in the search bar, and boom, there he was. His profile says he’s all about sharing stuff and making the world more open. I figured, “Why not?” and sent him a friend request. We’ll see if he accepts. Maybe he’s got some cool insights to share.
But here’s where it gets a bit more interesting. I was listening to this podcast, and they mentioned a Kyle Blakely who’s apparently into deep dives into various topics with a guy named Mark. They chat with politicians, experts, you name it. I’m not sure if it’s the same Kyle, but it definitely piqued my interest. I jotted down a note to check out their podcast later.
Then I started digging a little deeper, and it turns out this Kyle Blakely has some serious business chops. He’s been in leadership roles at top advertising agencies and even founded his own company, Blakely + Company, back in 2001. That’s pretty impressive, right? So, I’m thinking this guy knows his stuff when it comes to business management.
Later, I stumbled upon this podcast from the creators of “Workaholics”: Adam, Blake, Ders. I love that show and they started to talk about this new podcast which they said it’s from Kyle. I thought maybe this is the same Kyle I just added on Facebook. I followed that podcast anyway, maybe I can find out something interesting.
But here is the strange part, I found another Kyle Blakely, 36 years old, 6’2″, 200lbs, from Greenville. It says he’s a sportsperson. I don’t know if all these Kyle is the same person or just name duplicates.
- First step: Saw Kyle Blakely on LinkedIn, working at Under Armour.
- Second step: Found him on Facebook, sent a friend request.
- Third step: Heard about a Kyle Blakely on a podcast, might be the same guy.
- Fourth step: Discovered he’s a big shot in business, founded Blakely + Company.
- Fifth step: Followed the new podcast from creators of “Workaholics” and they mentioned Kyle.
- Sixth step: Found another Kyle Blakely, 36 years old, 6’2″, 200lbs, from Greenville.
So, that’s my little adventure with Kyle Blakely for now. Whether all these Kyle is one person or not, he seems like a pretty interesting guy, with a lot going on. I’ll keep you posted if I find out more, especially if that podcast turns out to be something special. It’s always cool to discover people doing interesting things, right?
