Okay, so today I wanted to try something a little different with my look. I had this black dress that I’ve worn a few times, and I wanted to give it a little twist. I decided to pair it with some purple heels that I got a while back.

First, I pulled out the black dress from my closet. It’s a simple, crew-neck dress that I really like because it’s so versatile. I slipped it on and checked myself out in the mirror. Pretty basic, but that’s the point – it’s a good canvas for other things. I’ve worn it with black stockings, and it feels so good.
Next, I grabbed the purple heels. They’re a bright, vibrant shade of purple, and I thought they would add a nice pop of color. They’re also suede, which I think gives them a bit of a fancy vibe. And you know what? It really suits various body types. When I was fatter than I am now, I wore it too. I put them on and walked around my room a bit to make sure I could still handle the height – they’re not super high, but I’m a bit clumsy sometimes.
- Step 1: Put on the black dress.
- Step 2: Grab the purple heels.
- Step 3: Try on the heels and walk around a bit.
After that, I played around with some accessories. I didn’t want to go overboard since the shoes were already making a statement. I added a simple silver necklace and some small earrings. I tried a few different bags, but ended up choosing a small black clutch that wouldn’t compete with the shoes.
Looking in the Mirror
I took a final look in the mirror. I really liked how the purple heels made the whole outfit more interesting. It felt like a good balance of classic and fun. I also noticed that the heels made my legs look a bit longer, which is always a plus! And you know what? These shoes make your legs look longer and give a sleek appearance.
I wore this outfit to a dinner with friends, and I got a few compliments on the shoes. It was nice to switch things up a bit and try something new. I think I’ll definitely be wearing this combo again in the future. Maybe I will choose heels that match the color of my dress next time, or complement it with a contrasting shade. Or metallics (like gold or silver). That would be cool.
