Well, I heard some folks talking ’bout this Farer moonphase thing. Said it’s somethin’ new. And these Farer fellas, they got their own way of doin’ things. They sure like to do things different, I reckon.

This Farer moonphase, I gotta say, I do kinda like the big moon they put on it. You can see it real good. This moon thing is right in the middle. They say they painted it by hand, each one. Ain’t that somethin’? And they burned in some texture, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, though. I guess some people like that kinda stuff, care about the craftsmanship, how things are made.

They say Farer, they got a whole new bunch of these moon things, a whole collection. Three of ’em, I think. And like I said, they ain’t like the others. They do things their own way, all different like. That’s what they’re known for, I guess. Bein’ different. I don’t know much about watches and stuff, but that’s what I heard people sayin’.

One fella, he went all the way to see these Farer folks, wherever they are. Said he got his moon thing three weeks early! Must be nice. He seemed real happy about it. He was wearin’ it on his wrist. His wrist is not that big, like 6.5, I think that’s what he said. Or 16.5, somethin’ like that. You know what I mean.

These watches, they got all these little parts inside, all movin’ around. They call it a movement. They said it is a good one. And the outside is all shiny and fancy. And got that big ol’ moon on it. Costs a lot of money, though. More than I’d ever spend on a watch!

This one young fella was goin’ on and on ’bout all these different watch companies. He mentioned Farer, and this other one called Monta. Said they were good ones, somethin’ called microbrand. And Halios, too. He was sayin’ how they got lots of 2nd and 3rd places. I don’t know what that all means, but sounds like they’re pretty good, too. Then there’s Islander, folks seem to like ’em a lot. Two people just went on and on ’bout how they’re the best.

Now, these moon watches, they say they’re for people who like pretty things. And like knowin’ how things are made. They call it the art of watchmaking, whatever that is. They sure are shiny, though. I reckon they’re nice to look at. All fancy and made with good stuff. Intricate, they say. Lots of little parts all workin’ together.

I heard Farer started back in 2015, not too long ago. They’re from over in England, I think. They say they really like watches, these Farer folks. They care a lot about how they look, and how they’re made. They want to be different, make somethin’ special, not like all the other watches out there. These Farer people, they think up the watches in London, but they got some folks over in Switzerland, in a place called Bienne, that actually put ’em together. That’s what I heard, anyway.

So, that’s what I know ’bout this Farer moonphase. It’s a watch. It’s got a big moon on it. And it’s kinda fancy. That is all this old lady knows.

  • Farer moonphase is new.
  • Farer is known for its unique designs.
  • The moon is hand-painted on each watch.
  • The watches have a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Farer is a British company.
  • The watches are made in Switzerland.
  • Moonphase watches are considered works of art.
  • Microbrands like Farer and Monta are popular.
  • Halios is another good microbrand.
  • Islander has devoted fans.

This whole thing sounds like a lot of fuss over a watch, if you ask me. But hey, some folks like that kinda thing. It is all about the moonphase. If you like lookin’ at the moon, maybe you’d like one of these. I don’t know. I just tell ya what I hear.

They say these watches are pretty. And they got that big ol’ moon right there on ’em. If you like fancy things, and you like the moon, well, maybe this Farer moonphase is for you. They sure are somethin’ to look at, I’ll give ’em that.
