Okay, so, today I wanna talk about something we all do but maybe don’t think about that much: kissing. Yeah, that’s right, the title was “Kiss Begins with K,” and I just dove right in, no holding back.
First off, I had to really think, when did I start kissing? Wasn’t some big romantic movie moment, that’s for sure. More like awkward fumbling in middle school, if I’m being honest. But hey, we all start somewhere, right?
So, I started by, you know, just thinking about all the different kinds of kisses there are. You got your quick pecks, your passionate make-out sessions, those sweet little kisses on the forehead or the shoulder… they all mean something different, don’t they?
Then I got to thinking about the first kiss with someone new. That’s always a big deal. The anticipation, the nerves, the wondering if they’re gonna go for it, if you’re gonna go for it… It’s a whole thing. I remember this one time, I was so nervous, I practically headbutted the poor guy. Smooth, right?
- Thinking back, most of my first kisses were pretty clumsy.
- But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
- Figuring it out together, learning what you like, what they like.
Then you have those kisses that are just comfortable. Like, with someone you’ve been with for a while. They’re not always fireworks, but they’re just… nice. They say “I love you” without having to say anything at all.
I also started to wonder, why do we even kiss? Like, what’s the point? Is it just something we’re taught to do, or is there some, like, biological reason behind it?
So I, began to recall all the kissing scene. No matter the first kiss or we’ve been together for a while. Those all means something. And I suddenly understand that no matter what kind of kiss it is, it’s always better when you actually mean it. You know, when it comes from the heart.
My Realization
I realized, after all this thinking and remembering, that kissing is way more than just locking lips. It’s a connection, a way to show someone you care. And it all starts with that first awkward, clumsy, maybe-not-so-perfect kiss. And you know what? That’s perfectly okay. Because, like I said, kiss begins with K, and also, it always begins with a little bit of courage and a whole lot of heart.
