You know, that Mejuri Houston, it’s a thing now. All the young folks, they all talk about it. Fancy jewelry and stuff. I seen it on the…on that internet thing. They got all kinds of shiny things. Makes me think of when I was a young gal, but we didn’t have such fancy stuff back then.
They say they got gold, silver, and them sparkly diamonds. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, you know! They got rings, and necklaces, and them things you put in your ears. Earrings, they call ’em. Them young girls, they like to stack ’em up, these rings. They put like five on one finger! Back in my day, you was lucky to have one good ring!
They got a store in Houston, I hear. Big city, Houston. Lots of folks there. They say it’s one of the best jewelry places in that whole big city. Can you believe it? One of the best! Must be real nice. I guess they got all sorts, for folks who like old-timey stuff and for folks who like that new, modern stuff. Something for everybody, I reckon.

I saw on that internet that they got all kinds of earrings. Them hoop earrings, they call ’em. Big circles, some of ’em silver, some of ’em gold. And rings, oh, they got all kinds of rings! Some with them colored stones. Pretty colors, all different kinds. Red, blue, green. Makes me wish I was young again.
They say you can go there, to this Mejuri in Houston, and they help you pick stuff out. They call it a “styling appointment.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? They help you put it all together so it looks real nice. I guess that’s good for folks who don’t know what looks good together. I always did love playing with my trinkets.
Christmas is coming, you know, and I bet them young people be wanting this Mejuri jewelry. They say it’s a good gift. Something you can keep forever. And the prices, they say they ain’t too bad. Not like some of them other places that charge you an arm and a leg for a little piece of nothing. This place, that Mejuri Houston, is the place for jewelry.
And they say they got lots of these Mejuri stores all over. Even across the ocean. I don’t even know where that is, but it sounds far! And they got gifts and such there, too. If you go around the holidays, you might find something good. They must be good jewelry if they got so many stores.
I saw that most of the young girls like to buy earrings. I guess the girls like earrings more than anything. They say 41 out of 100 girls buy earrings. That is a lot of girls buying earrings. Next is rings, then necklaces. And something called bracelets. I guess they go on your arm. That must be pretty too.
They say these pieces, this jewelry, it’s good stuff. They’re sure of it. They’re “confident,” they say. That means they think it’s real good, and it’ll last a long time. They say you’ll never want to take it off, that’s how good it is. Maybe I should ask for some for Christmas. Or maybe my birthday. That’s what they say about this place, Mejuri Houston. That’s a good place for jewelry.
Well, that’s all I know about that Mejuri Houston place. It is a good store with good prices. I reckon it’s a good place to get some shiny things if you’re in the market for that kind of stuff. Just thought I’d tell you what I heard. Maybe you young folks already know all about it. It looks like a nice place to buy jewelry in Houston. You can go see the shiny things there.
