Okay, so, you know how everyone was talking about that big royal wedding a while back? Well, today I’m diving into something a bit different but still related – Pippa Middleton’s wedding. Yeah, not the royal one, but still pretty fancy.
First off, I started digging around to see what the buzz was all about. It turns out, Pippa, who’s Kate Middleton’s younger sister, got hitched to this guy James Matthews back in May 2017. I found out it was kind of a big deal, with people calling it one of the most anticipated weddings of the year. I mean, the guest list was packed with all sorts of big names.
So, what did I do next? Naturally, I went down the rabbit hole of pictures and articles. I saw Pippa, who was 33 at the time, in this gorgeous white dress. Apparently, it was designed by Giles Deacon and cost a whopping 40,000. The whole wedding was rumored to be around 300,000. Can you imagine spending that much on one day?
- I got curious about the guest list drama too.
- There was some talk about why Meghan Markle wasn’t at the ceremony itself.
- Turns out, there was some rule about unmarried guests not being invited to the actual wedding.
- But since she and Harry were engaged, she made it to the reception.
Then there was this whole thing about Spencer Matthews’ girlfriend, Vogue Williams. They’d only been dating for a couple of months, and apparently, Pippa thought it wouldn’t be “appropriate” for her to come. I guess when you have a super fancy wedding, you gotta have some rules, right?
The Age Gap and Other Stuff
While I was at it, I also got a bit sidetracked looking up ages. Kate’s 42 now, Meghan’s 42, turning 43 soon, and Pippa’s 40, almost 41. Time flies, huh?
Anyway, I spent a good chunk of my day lost in this wedding world. And I thought, why not share my little adventure with you guys? It’s interesting to see how these things play out, even if it’s not something I’d personally do. I mean, who chooses the bridesmaids’ dresses? The bride, of course! That’s what I found out.
