So, I’ve been obsessed with ballet flats lately. They’re just so cute and seem to go with everything! I decided to take the plunge and really figure out how to make these work in my everyday style.

First, I went on a bit of a shopping spree. I know, I know, but I really wanted to find some different styles to play with. I got a classic black leather pair, which are super sleek with a slightly squared toe. Then I found some in a bright red color – gotta have some fun, right? And because I’m extra, I also picked up a pair with some little bows on them. Super girly, I love them!
Next, I started experimenting with outfits. I tried them with my favorite sundress, and oh my gosh, it was the perfect match! So feminine and sweet. Then I paired them with a jumpsuit, and it was such a cool, effortless look. Even with a cocktail dress, the ballet flats added this touch of elegance that I wasn’t expecting.
- Wearing them with a sundress – perfect match!
- Trying them with a jumpsuit – cool and effortless.
- Pairing them with a cocktail dress – unexpectedly elegant.
But here’s the thing, I have to stretch some pairs. So I got this shoe stretcher to keep it comfortable. Dampen the shoe well with a spray bottle. Then I used a shoe stretcher. Put in the oven on “warming” for 15 minutes. Honestly, they’re so comfortable now, especially after I stretched them out a bit. It’s like walking on clouds, but way more stylish.
Honestly, I’m so glad I dove into the world of ballet flats. They’re comfy, they’re cute, and they seriously go with so much. If you’re on the fence, just do it! You won’t regret it.
