Today, I wanna talk about my journey with Converse shoes, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride!

So, I got my first pair of Converse a while back. I just needed some casual shoes, you know? Something for everyday stuff. And Converse? They’re like the kings of casual. Plus, they look good with almost anything.
Wearing them for the first time, I felt pretty good. They were comfy enough for walking around the city, going to the grocery store, and hanging out with friends. No big deal. I mean, they aren’t running shoes or anything, but they did the job.
- I started noticing that after wearing them for a few hours, my feet would start to feel a bit tired.
- I realized that Converse are kinda flat.
- There’s not much support for your arches, and if you’ve ever dealt with that, you know it can be a pain. Literally.
But here’s the thing, I didn’t give up on them. I actually like how they look, and they’re so easy to slip on. So, I started using them mostly for short trips. Like, if I was just going out to grab a coffee or something, Converse were my go-to. It works out just fine.
I also tried wearing them with shorts during the summer. And honestly, it felt great. They’re perfect for warm weather. They let your feet breathe, and they look stylish with shorts.
But then there were times when I had to do a lot of walking. And let me tell you, Converse are not made for that, I tried my best. I even added some insoles to see if that would help. It did make a bit of a difference, but it wasn’t a game-changer.

I remember one time, I wore them to an outdoor event. Lots of walking and standing. By the end of the day, my feet were killing me. I learned my lesson the hard way. If you’re gonna be on your feet for a long time, get proper shoes, you will not regret it.
So, here’s what I think about Converse now. They’re great for casual wear, short distances, and definitely for style. I still wear them when I know I won’t be doing much walking. But for anything more than that, I switch to shoes with better support. I value my comfort and my foot health, and sometimes, Converse just doesn’t cut it.
Final Thoughts
It all boils down to what you need. If you’re looking for something stylish and comfy for short periods, Converse are great. If you need shoes that can handle long walks or support your feet all day, you might wanna look elsewhere, or do your own research. That’s just my experience, though. Everybody’s feet are different, right?
