Okay, so, I’ve been seeing Maybelline everywhere lately, especially their Sky High mascara, it’s like, all over my Instagram feed. And I got curious, you know? So, I thought, why not dig a little deeper and see what’s up with their emails? Like, what are they sending out? Are there any good deals?
Getting Started
First things first, I went straight to their website. You can find the email sign-up form all the way to the bottom of their homepage. It’s pretty easy to spot, you just gotta scroll all the way down. They’re all about, “be the first to know about the latest news on product launches, makeup tips trends” and stuff like that. It’s simple, you just type in your email address and boom, you’re in. They mentioned that this sign-up is specifically for U.S. consumers, so if you are one of them, great for you.
Next, I signed up for something called “Maybelline Express”. I’m not entirely sure what it is, but I figured it couldn’t hurt. I saw somewhere that you can score a free product by signing up. Now I do not know if it is true, but if it is true then free product? Yes, please! I’m always down for freebies.
Digging Deeper
I also found out that this website called “Milled” has a bunch of Maybelline emails. Apparently, they archive emails from brands, so you can see their past deals and stuff. It’s like a treasure trove of email marketing. I haven’t really dug into it yet, but it’s on my to-do list. Could be useful to see what kind of deals they’ve offered before. You never know when they’ll repeat a good one.
And since I’m a big fan of social media, I checked out their Instagram. Their handle is @maybelline_ind, at least for their Indian audience. Their posts are fun, and it’s interesting to see what they’re promoting in other countries. They were promoting their Sky High mascara there too, which makes sense, it’s like, their biggest thing right now. I noticed they had a post about some kind of giveaway – 100 makeup pouches! Not sure if it’s still going on, but that’s pretty cool.
The Waiting Game
Now, I’m just waiting for those emails to start rolling in. I’m hoping for some good discounts, maybe a heads-up on new products before they sell out, and definitely some makeup tips. I mean, who doesn’t love a good makeup tutorial? They also said to give them a call if you have questions about their products, maybe I will try to call them later and see how it goes. I heard that it is always a good idea to test the contents on a small area of your skin before using any of their product. And another thing to remember is that when a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
