So, I decided to jump on the Gucci Run train. I mean, everyone’s talking about these, right? I saved up for, like, forever, and finally snagged a pair.

First off, let me just say, these things are expensive. I’m talking, like, sell-your-kidney expensive. But I was curious, you know? Are they really worth it? Are they as good as people say? I figured, worst-case scenario, I’d have some fancy shoes to show off, even if they weren’t great for actually, you know, running.
I went online, found a pair in my size, and ordered them. I went with some wild colors, wanted to stand out. When that box arrived, it felt like Christmas morning. The packaging alone was over the top, all fancy and Italian. Ripped that open like a kid with a new toy, and there they were. Shiny and new. So, I put them on.
My first thought was, “Wow, these feel…different.” They’re definitely not your typical running shoes, I decided to wear these babies out for my usual morning jog.
The first few steps felt weirdly luxurious. I was ready to run. But, honestly, after about a mile, I started to feel it. I’m not saying they’re bad shoes, but they’re definitely more about the look than the performance. I think they are designed for style, and not really for serious running. They just didn’t have the support I’m used to. I mean, my feet were killing me. I even tried walking in them for a while, but it was still tough.
I finished my run, but it wasn’t exactly comfortable. They look amazing, no doubt. And people definitely noticed. I got a few “Nice shoes!” comments, which was cool. But my feet? Not so happy. I don’t think I’ll be breaking any personal records in these. I don’t think these will last thousands of miles of running, as the company says.

So, what’s the verdict?
- Style: 10/10. These things are gorgeous.
- Comfort: 5/10. Okay for walking around, maybe, but not for running.
- Price: 1/10. Seriously, way too much for what you get. I could have bought a few normal shoes with what I spent on these.
Would I buy them again? Probably not. Unless I suddenly become a millionaire and don’t care about money anymore. They’re more of a fashion statement than anything else. If you’re looking for a serious running shoe, look elsewhere. But if you want to turn heads and don’t mind sacrificing a little comfort (and a lot of money), then go for it. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.
I guess I’ll keep these for special occasions or just to wear around town. They do look pretty awesome with jeans. Maybe I’ll try them out at the gym and see how they do with some light weightlifting. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise me. But for now, they’re staying off my running route.
I wore them at the gym, and one of the girls wanted to know where I got them. They really stand out and look so good. I’m sure if I wore these to the right party, I could meet a millionaire and never have to work again. But, for now, I’m enjoying wearing them.
Next time, I’ll be reviewing something a little more practical, I promise!
