So, I’ve been needing a new suit for a while now, and I’ve heard good things about Indochino. I decided to give them a try, mainly because they claim to do custom suits at a reasonable price. Plus, I wanted to see how long it takes to get one of their suits.

Ordering Process
First, I went on their website and browsed through their selection. They’ve got a ton of fabrics and styles to choose from. It’s kind of cool because you can customize everything – the fabric, the lining, the buttons, even the lapel style. I went with a classic navy blue suit, nothing too flashy.
After picking out my suit options, I had to enter my measurements. Now, this is where things get interesting. You can either measure yourself at home or go to one of their showrooms to get measured by a “Style Guide”. Since I didn’t have time to go to a showroom, I measured myself. It was a bit of a hassle, but their website had some videos to guide me through it.
Once I submitted my order, I got a confirmation email. The email said my suit would ship from their production facility in about 7-10 days and that DHL would take another 7-10 days to deliver it, resulting in a total of 2-3 weeks for the whole process. They say 2-3 weeks, but I’ve heard it can be up to 28 days from some folks online.
Waiting Game

Now came the waiting part. Honestly, the waiting was the hardest part. I was excited to get my new suit, and I kept checking the tracking information like a hawk. After about 8 days, I got a notification that my suit had shipped. Relief!
Delivery
DHL was pretty quick, I’ll give them that. The suit arrived at my doorstep about 9 days after it shipped, so the total wait was 17 days. Not bad, considering it’s a custom-made suit. It was well-packaged, and the suit itself looked pretty good right out of the box.
Conclusion
- Indochino says it takes 2-3 weeks, and for me, it took 17 days, so they were right on schedule.
- The whole “custom suit” thing is pretty cool. I like that I got to pick the fabric and all the details.
- Measuring myself was a bit of a pain, but it worked out in the end.
- Overall, I’m happy with my Indochino experience. I got a decent suit for a good price, and it didn’t take forever to arrive.
If you’re thinking about getting a suit from Indochino, I’d say go for it. Just be prepared to wait a couple of weeks, and make sure you measure yourself carefully!
