Okay, so, about this “Aviation Empire” thing. I saw some buzz about it online – something about building a city in the sky. Sounds cool, right? I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, I’ve played my fair share of city-builders, but one that’s floating? That’s a new one.

So, I got the game. I think it’s still in that “early access” phase, so it’s a bit rough around the edges. You know how it is with these early access games. But, hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Seeing how it grows and all that.

First thing I did was jump into the tutorial. It walks you through the basics – how to gather resources, build stuff, keep your little sky-people happy. Pretty standard city-builder stuff at first. You start with this little platform and slowly expand it.

  • You gotta collect wood and stone, just like any other game.
  • Then you build houses, workshops, all that jazz.
  • The real kicker is that you also gotta manage the lift.

See, your city floats because of these, like, giant propellers. And you gotta make sure they have enough power. It’s kinda like managing electricity in a normal city, but way cooler because, you know, flying.

I spent a good few hours just building up my little sky-town. Added some decorations, tried to make it look nice. It’s not easy, though! You really gotta think about where you place things because space is limited. And if you mess up, your whole city can become unbalanced. That’s not fun, let me tell you. I almost lost my whole city once because I put too many heavy buildings on one side!

The Challenge

But it’s not just about building. There’s also some exploration involved. You can send out these little airships to scout the area. And sometimes they find other floating islands with resources or even other people you can trade with. It’s pretty neat. I managed to find a few rare materials that way, which helped me build some advanced stuff. I even met another sky-city that’s pretty friendly.

It reminds me of this other game I used to play “Azur Lane”, which is one of the highest-end gacha games and is Japanese-exclusive. It is not similar in gameplay but the feeling of exploring and building up a city is almost the same.

All in all, I’m having a good time with “Aviation Empire”. It’s still early, but it’s got a lot of potential. I’m excited to see where it goes from here. If you’re into city-builders and want something a little different, you might wanna check it out. Just be prepared for a few bugs here and there. It’s all part of the early access experience!

Anyway, I gotta get back to my city. Those propellers aren’t gonna power themselves! Catch you guys later!
