Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these here Jordan 12 Taxi 2013 shoes.

Jordan 12 Taxi 2013 Review: Is It Worth Buying Now?

Folks been makin’ a big fuss over ’em, and I reckon I can see why. They ain’t just any sneakers, ya know. They got history, or so they say.

I heard tell these shoes first came out way back when Michael Jordan was winnin’ championships, like in ’96 or ’97. That’s a long time ago, even for an old gal like me. They say he wore ’em when he was playin’ ball, jumpin’ around like a jackrabbit. Guess that makes ’em special, huh?

Now, this 2013 version, they call it a “retro.” That just means they made ’em again, like they used to. They got this white leather, all tumbled and soft-lookin’. And then there’s this gold color, they call it “taxi” gold, on the little holes where the shoelaces go. And black leather too, on the top part. Looks kinda fancy, I guess, like somethin’ you’d wear to a big city shindig.

I ain’t never been to New York City, but I hear tell that’s where they got the idea for the color. Said the shoes look like them yellow taxi cars they got over there. Imagine that! Shoes lookin’ like cars. City folks sure do think up some strange things.

  • Leather: The leather on these shoes, it’s tough, ya know? They say it’s made to last, not like them flimsy things they sell nowadays. And it’s got all these fancy stitch lines, makes it look strong and sturdy.
  • Color: White, black, and that taxi gold. Simple, but it catches your eye. Makes you think of money, I reckon. Gold always does.
  • Bottom part: They got these little zig-zaggy patterns on the bottom, for grippin’, I guess. So you don’t go slippin’ and slidin’ all over the place. That’s important, specially when you’re runnin’ after them grandkids.

People say these Jordan 12 shoes, they’re some of the toughest ones out there. That leather, it’s thick and strong, not gonna rip easy. And the way they sewed it all together, makes it even tougher. Good for workin’ in the garden, maybe, or chasin’ them chickens around the yard. Though, I reckon they’d get dirty real quick doin’ that.

Jordan 12 Taxi 2013 Review: Is It Worth Buying Now?

They say these Taxi 12s, they were a big deal back in the day, and folks still want ’em now. One of the most “sought after” they say. Don’t know what that means exactly, but I reckon it means lots of people want ’em. They go sellin’ ’em for a pretty penny, too. Heard someone say they cost 170 dollars, plus tax! That’s a whole lotta money for a pair of shoes, if you ask me. Could buy a whole lotta flour and sugar with that kind of cash.

Now, I ain’t no shoe expert, but I can tell ya, these Jordan 12 Taxi 2013 shoes, they got somethin’ special about ’em. Maybe it’s the history, maybe it’s the way they look, or maybe it’s just the name. But people sure do like ’em. And I reckon that’s all that matters, ain’t it?

If you’re lookin’ for a good pair of shoes, that’ll last ya a while and make ya feel a little fancy, well, these might just be the ticket. Just don’t go wearin’ ’em to muck out the barn, ya hear? They too pretty for that.

I heard someone talkin’ about “LJR B Batch” and “259” somethin’ or other. Sounded like gibberish to me. All I know is, these shoes look alright, and folks seem to like ’em. And if they make people happy, well, that’s good enough for me.

They came out in December of 2013, I reckon that’s been a while now. Time sure flies when you’re havin’ fun, or just plain gettin’ old, like me.

So, there ya have it. My two cents on these Jordan 12 Taxi shoes. Take it or leave it, I don’t care much either way. Just thought I’d share what I heard tell. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them biscuits in the oven.
