Hey everyone, it’s your girl back again with another fashion adventure! So, I was scrolling through my usual celebrity style feeds and BAM! Kate Middleton popped up, looking absolutely regal in this stunning purple dress at Wimbledon. You know me, I can’t resist a good fashion challenge, so I thought, “Why not try to recreate this iconic look?”

First things first, I needed to find a similar dress. I hit up my favorite online stores, browsing through pages and pages of purple dresses. It wasn’t easy, guys. Kate’s dress was a specific shade of purple, kind of a soft lilac, and it had this elegant midi length that I was determined to match. I scoured and I compared. Finally, after what felt like hours, I found it! A dress that was pretty darn close to Kate’s, at least in terms of color and length.
Next up, the accessories. Kate had these simple yet chic accessories that really completed the look. I remembered seeing similar items in my own closet. I started to dig through my jewelry box and I found the perfect simple necklace and earrings that were just like Kate’s.
- Shoes. This was another challenge. Kate’s shoes were these classic nude pumps that seemed to elongate her legs. I went on another online hunt, looking for something similar. I stumbled on a few decent options, but none of them were exactly like hers. It took me much time to look for the ideal one, it seems that they were all not exactly right. Eventually, I settled on a pair that was close enough, knowing that I could always swap them out later if I found a better match.
- Hair and makeup. Kate’s hair was styled in these loose, effortless waves, and her makeup was natural and glowing. I’m no hairstylist, but I gave it my best shot with my trusty curling iron. As for the makeup, I kept it simple with a light foundation, some blush, and a nude lip. Easy job!
Once I had all the pieces, it was time to put it all together. I slipped on the dress, added the accessories, did my hair and makeup, and slipped on the shoes. And you know what? I felt amazing! It wasn’t an exact replica of Kate’s look, but it definitely captured the essence of her style. Elegant, classy, and just a little bit royal.
The Result
Recreating Kate Middleton’s purple dress look was such a fun experiment. It’s always interesting to step outside of my usual style and try something new. Plus, it’s a great way to get inspired by celebrity fashion without breaking the bank. I might not be attending Wimbledon anytime soon, but I definitely felt like a princess for a day!
