Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a pair of those “Marty McFly” Dunks for a while now. You know, the ones that look like they came straight out of “Back to the Future”? Yeah, those. I finally decided to go for it.

Marty McFly Dunks: Is It Real Or Just Movie Magic

I did some digging around first. It’s wild, these shoes were originally called the “College Color High,” or something like that, and this guy Peter Moore designed them. They’ve got a bit of that Legend and Terminator vibe, which is pretty cool. It was time to purchase.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a pair. The whole process was kind of a blur, I was so excited. When the package finally arrived, I ripped that box open like a kid on Christmas morning.

First impression? They looked awesome. That grey and white color combo is just classic, the original version also features white and grey, so I went with that. I’d seen some people online complaining about the swoosh being off or whatever, but mine looked fine. I even checked out some pictures of the retail pairs, and honestly, the swoosh placement seems to vary a bit on those, too. So, no big deal there.

Trying Them On

Then came the moment of truth – trying them on. I slipped my feet in and… oh man. They felt great. Like, really great. Super comfortable, you know? Although I did read somewhere that because of the thick tongue, dunks might need to be worn a bit loose. But mine are comfortable and great.

  • Appearance: Spot on. They look just like the ones Marty McFly would rock.
  • Feel: Super comfy. The construction feels solid, and they’re surprisingly light.
  • Fit: True to size. They were fine and felt great on my feet.

I’ve been wearing them around for a few days now, and I gotta say, I’m loving them. They’re definitely a conversation starter, and they just make me feel good. It’s like a little piece of movie history on my feet. Plus, they’re comfortable enough to wear all day, which is a huge plus. I am now walking with them every day, and they still feel so comfortable. I’ve been taking care of them well these days.

There was also a scene in the original “Back to the Future” script where Marty was supposed to play this 3D racquetball game called Slamball while wearing these. How cool is that? I wish they had kept that scene in. Anyway, if you’re a fan of the movie or just looking for a cool, comfortable pair of shoes, I’d definitely recommend checking out these Marty McFly Dunks. They’re worth it!

I had no issues so far and enjoyed the whole purchase process!
