Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to create a logo for my new fashion blog, “Fashionista.” I really wanted something chic and stylish, you know, something that really screams “fashion!”

First, I googled some logo makers, trying to find free tools. I stumbled upon a few, like BrandCrowd and *. They looked pretty easy to use, with lots of templates and stuff. They promised a professional-looking logo in just a few seconds, that’s really tempting.

So I decided to give BrandCrowd a try first. I typed in “Fashionista” and browsed through their suggestions. There were tons of options, but a lot of them were pretty generic. They all seem like it’s made in a few seconds, not really what I was looking for. I wanted something more unique, something that would stand out.

  • Tried out some templates on BrandCrowd.
  • Felt they were a bit too common.
  • Wanted something with more personality.

Then, I moved on to *. They had some stylish templates too. I played around with the colors and fonts, trying to find the perfect combination. It was kind of fun, but also a bit overwhelming. So many choices! I spent a good hour just messing around with different designs.

After that, I started thinking about what really represents a “fashionista.” I imagined someone elegant, maybe with a cool hat or some stylish accessories. I saw some logos with ladies in berets and wavy hair, which looked pretty cool, very French and chic.

  • Played with colors and fonts on *.
  • Imagined what embodies a “fashionista.”
  • Liked the idea of a stylish lady figure.

I even looked at some examples of chic logos. I noticed a lot of them used cursive fonts and a minimalist design. Simple, but classy. That’s when I got the idea to sketch something myself.

I grabbed a pen and paper and started doodling. I drew a silhouette of a woman with a stylish hat and some flowy hair. Then I tried to write “Fashionista” in a fancy, cursive font underneath. It wasn’t perfect, but it felt more “me.”

  • Studied some chic logo examples.
  • Decided to sketch my own design.
  • Created a rough draft of my logo.

I showed my sketch to a friend who’s good at graphic design. She gave me some helpful tips and even helped me digitize it! We played with different fonts and colors until we finally got something we both loved.

Final Result

It wasn’t as easy as those logo makers made it seem, but I’m so glad I took the time to create something unique. My “Fashionista” logo now feels like a true reflection of my brand and my style. It’s simple, it’s chic, and it’s totally me! I guess sometimes you just gotta trust your gut and do it yourself, even if it takes a little longer. I learned that it is totally worth it at the end of the day.
