So, I wanted to check out this Oris Hank Aaron watch. I’d heard some good stuff about it, and figured it was time to get my hands dirty and see what all the fuss was about.

First, I started digging around to see what they were all about. Turns out, these Oris guys, they’re known for some neat stuff. I mean, they’ve got this pointer date thing that’s pretty unique, and they make some solid dive watches. Not that I’m a diver, mind you, but it’s good to know they’re built tough.
Then I found out about this Calibre 400 series. Seems like they put some serious work into it, and these watches, they’ll keep ticking for a good long while, which is pretty cool if you don’t want to worry about winding your watch every day.
Next, I was curious if these watches actually hold their value. I’m no expert, but from what I could gather, some of them, especially the older ones or the special editions, they can actually be worth more later on. I guess it depends on how many were made, if people want them, and just how well-known Oris is at the time.
I also bumped into some stories, novels or something. I skimmed through them, and they gave me a better sense of what these watches represent, there was some back and forth, trying to keep things under wraps, you know, that sort of thing. It was a bit of a mess, but it added to the whole mystique, I guess.
Measuring It Up
I did some playing around in this 3D modeling program, Blender, nothing fancy. I got my hands on some model of a human figure, and did some rough measurements. I rotated some things around to get a rough idea of dimensions. Here’s what I got, keep in mind, this is just some quick and dirty stuff:

- Height: Around 134cm, plus another 6cm for some heels or something.
- Waist: About 45cm.
So, there you have it. That was my little adventure with the Oris Hank Aaron. I looked into what makes them special, if they’re worth anything, and even did some really basic measuring just for kicks. It was a fun little project, and I learned a thing or two along the way, I think it was a fun journey for me.
