Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to style these purple, blue, and black Jordans for a while now. They’re pretty bold, so I knew I needed to plan this out carefully. I started by going through my closet to see what I could work with.

First, I grabbed a bunch of jeans. I figured darker colors would be best, so I picked out some black and dark blue pairs. I also grabbed a pair of slim-fit grey jeans. Just to test them out, you know? I tried on a few different pairs with the shoes. The black ones looked pretty good, but they felt a little too expected. The dark blue ones were okay, but nothing special. Then I tried the slim-fit grey jeans and they were better than the other two. They really made the colors of the Jordans pop.
- Tried on black jeans – looked okay but a bit boring.
- Tried on dark blue jeans – also okay, but not great.
- Tried on slim-fit grey jeans – much better, the shoes stood out more.
Next, I moved on to tops. I grabbed a few different t-shirts and a couple of my favorite hoodies. I even found this old, thrifted bomber jacket I’d forgotten about. I started trying things on, mixing and matching with the jeans and the Jordans.
A plain white tee with the black jeans and Jordans looked clean. But, again, it felt a little too safe. I swapped the white tee for a black one, and that looked a bit more edgy. I also tried a graphic tee with a cool design. It was a bit too much with the already loud shoes.
- White tee + black jeans + Jordans = clean but a bit boring.
- Black tee + black jeans + Jordans = more edgy.
- Graphic tee = too busy with the shoes.
Then I remembered the bomber jacket. It’s got some cool colors that kind of match the shoes, so I threw that on over a plain black hoodie. Boom! That was it. The bomber added just the right amount of color and texture without overpowering the Jordans. I also tried a grey hoodie that added some highlights for the shoes and outfit.
Final Outfit
So, after all that experimenting, here’s what I ended up with: slim-fit grey jeans, a plain black hoodie, the thrifted bomber jacket, and of course, the purple, blue, and black Jordans. Oh, I also added a simple black baseball cap to complete the look. It’s a little street, a little sporty, and definitely something I feel good in. And those Jordans? They look awesome.
This whole process took me a good couple of hours, but it was worth it. I actually had fun trying on different combinations. It’s like a puzzle, trying to find the right pieces that all work together. And the best part is, now I have a go-to outfit whenever I want to wear these Jordans.
