Okay, so, I was trying to figure out who the guy was in that Kay Jewelers commercial, you know, the one that’s been playing all the time recently. I spent a good chunk of my morning on this, believe it or not. It all started when I saw the commercial again while having my coffee. I thought, “I need to know who that actor is!”

First, I tried to describe the commercial to Google. “Guy in Kay Jewelers commercial,” “Look up Kay Jewelers commercial,” stuff like that. It took a few tries, but I finally found a name: Tyler Ritter. Turns out, he’s the guy in the “Look Up” commercial.
- Tried searching for “Kay Jewelers commercial actor” and got a ton of results.
- Narrowed it down to the “Look Up” commercial specifically.
- Found out the actor’s name is Tyler Ritter.
Then, because I’m me, I went down a rabbit hole. Did you know he’s John Ritter’s son? And Jason Ritter’s younger brother? Yeah, I didn’t either! I watched a couple of clips of him on YouTube, just to see what else he’s been in. Not too much, it seems, but still, it was interesting.
After that, I started looking into other Kay Jewelers commercials, just out of curiosity. I checked out their 15-second “For Every Moment That Makes Us” commercial and their 30-second “Draft Class” one. They’ve got a whole series, apparently. I even stumbled upon something called “The Making of… The Kay Jewelers Commercials,” which looks like a behind-the-scenes thing directed by someone named Michael Showalter. That could be a fun watch later.
Other Random Stuff I Found
I also found out that there is a woman named Jules Aurora in one of the ads. She was a singer on some reality show called “The X Factor USA” years ago. Cool, I guess. And then there was this whole thing about a lawsuit? Apparently, Sterling Jewelers, the company that owns Kay, had to pay a bunch of money because of some discrimination lawsuit. Yikes. Seems like they’re trying to improve their image, especially with the younger crowd, like Gen Z and millennials. They have some new ads with a song from some artist called LNIS. Honestly, the song isn’t bad. I’m old, you know? But I still enjoy a good tune.
Anyway, that’s how I spent my morning. It was all about tracking down the actor in a jewelry commercial, which is kind of funny when I think about it. But hey, at least I learned something new, right?
