Well, let me tell you about these Olsen girls, Mary-Kate and Ashley. Them twins, you know? Born way back in 1986, June 13th it was. Always been hearin’ about ’em on the TV and in them magazines.
The Early Days and That “Full House” Thing
They started real young, little bitty things on that show “Full House.” Shared the same part, Michelle Tanner, that was her name. Can you imagine? Two little girls playin’ one kid. Must’ve been hard work, even for youngsters. Always thought it was kinda neat how they did that. One cryin’, the other one smilin’, who could tell the difference? Guess that’s why they called it “Full House,” lots of folks crammed in there.
From TV Kids to Big Business
Then, seems like they growed up fast. Got their own company, Dualstar Entertainment Group, some fella named Robert Thorne set it up for ‘em in 1993. Smart, them folks were. Made them girls into a whole brand. Movies, clothes, dolls, you name it, they had it. Probably made a whole heap of money, enough to buy a whole town, I reckon.

Always seein’ their pictures everywhere. Sometimes they look all dolled up, hair done all fancy, other times they just look like regular gals. One time, saw a picture where one was lookin’ like the other. Heard tell they like to switch things up, keep folks guessin’. Like that time one of ‘em, Mary-Kate I think, had her hair all smooth and parted, looked just like Ashley. Tricky little things, they are.
Those Pictures and What Folks Say
Now, you know how folks talk. Always gossiping about this and that. See things in pictures that maybe ain’t even there. One picture I saw, they said one of ‘em had bare legs and tight pants. Folks make a big deal outta nothin’ sometimes, if you ask me. But then again, maybe it’s just me bein’ old and not understandin’ all this newfangled stuff. Another picture they said was changed to make ‘em look old. Why do that? Let folks age like they’re supposed to, I say.
Livin’ the High Life, But Still Twins
Heard they live in New York City now, Ashley does anyway. Mary-Kate goes back and forth to Los Angeles. Travel all over, even to Europe. Fancy folks, they are. Even with all that money and travelin’, they still stick together. Heard they even have little ways to tell ‘em apart. Like one has a freckle on her right cheek and the other on her lip. And their ears are different, one’s round, the other’s pointy. Imagine that, twins but still different. Just goes to show, everyone’s special in their own way.
Still in the News
Even now, you still hear about ‘em. Pop up in entertainment news, fashion magazines, always somethin’. They ain’t just little girls on TV no more, they’re grown women with their own lives. But they’ll always be them Olsen twins to me. The ones who played that little Michelle on “Full House.” Remember watchin’ that show with my own grandkids. Time sure does fly, doesn’t it?
Grown Up and Still a Mystery
So, that’s what I know about them Olsen twins. From little kids on TV to big-time business ladies. Always in the news, always lookin’ different, but always together. They’re like a puzzle, always something new to learn about ‘em. Makes you wonder what they’ll do next, them two.
