Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Octobuddy” thing all over the internet lately, and you know me, I had to try it out. Basically, it’s this little silicone pad with a bunch of tiny suction cups on it. The idea is you stick it to the back of your phone, and then you can stick your phone to, like, anything smooth, really. Mirrors, windows, whatever.

First, I grabbed one of those pink ones, because, let’s be honest, it’s cute. I made sure my phone case was clean – that’s important, apparently, or it won’t stick as well. Then I just kinda slapped the Octobuddy on there. It sticks pretty good, I gotta say.
- First test: the bathroom mirror. Stuck like a charm! I was able to watch a video while I was brushing my teeth. Pretty cool, right?
- Next up, I tried it on the window. Also worked perfectly! I even tried to shake it a little, just to see if it would fall off, but nope. That thing is solid.
- Tried on different devices, both my iPhone and my friend’s Samsung Galaxy, worked well on both of them.
I’ve been using it for a few days now, and I’m actually really liking it. It is super useful for taking selfies or videos. You just stick your phone wherever you want and boom, instant hands-free recording. And it is not like those other phone holders that are bulky or you have to keep adjusting them to get the right angle. They said it has 24 powerful suction cups. I don’t know how they make those, but they did hold my phone pretty good!
Oh, and taking it off is easy too. You just peel it off from one of the corners. It doesn’t leave any sticky residue or anything. Honestly, it’s a simple little thing, but it’s one of those things you didn’t know you needed until you have it. I heard that it has different colors like blue, black, teal, green, and even clear, but I haven’t tried those yet. I just know that this pink one really rocks!
So yeah, if you’re looking for a simple and kinda fun way to use your phone hands-free, I’d definitely recommend checking out this Octobuddy thing. It’s been a game-changer for me, for sure. I might get a black one to use it on more formal occasions.
