Well, well, well, look what we have here. Some folks are asking can men wear Van Cleef. I heard that name somewhere… Oh, it’s that fancy jewelry, right? My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I reckon even I can see that stuff is shiny.
Now, in my day, men wore a watch and maybe a wedding band. That was it. But times, they are a-changin’, as they say. These young’uns today, they like to dress up. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose. If a man wants to wear a little somethin’ somethin’ shiny, who am I to say no?
I saw some pictures of this Van Cleef stuff. Lots of little clovers and flowers and such. Pretty things, I gotta admit. Makes me think of the wildflowers we used to pick back in the day. We’d string ’em together and make necklaces and bracelets. Didn’t cost a penny, neither. These Van Cleef things, though, they sure do cost a pretty penny!
They say it’s made of real gold and diamonds and such. I heard it uses precious materials. Fancy stones, you know. The kind you see on those rich folks in the movies. I reckon if a man’s got the money, he can wear whatever he pleases. A man can wear jewelry, it’s a free world. It’s luxurious and elegant, why not?
I once saw a fella, he had one of them Van Cleef bracelets. Black stones, it was. Looked kinda nice on him, I gotta say. He was wearin’ it with his watch. Matched his shoes, too, all black and shiny. My friend has a bracelet, too. And her husband got one before her. It is funny.

I don’t know. It can be classic and avant-garde. Seems like the new fashion now. This Van Cleef, seems like they know what they’re doin’.
These Van Cleef folks, they’ve been around for a long time. Longer than me, even! Started way back in the old days. Two people, a man and a woman, they got hitched. Then they started makin’ jewelry. 1906, a long time ago. They must be doin’ somethin’ right if they’re still around.
I saw these Van Cleef things on some movie stars, too. Big names, you know. The kind you see on the TV. Even princesses and such wear this stuff. Guess if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for anyone. I heard some names like Reese and Gwyneth. If those big stars wear it, I suppose it’s alright for a regular fella to wear it, too.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this fancy jewelry. But I’ve seen a thing or two in my time. And I say, if a man wants to wear Van Cleef, let him. It’s his money. It’s his wrist. It’s his life.
Just don’t go around flauntin’ it too much. Might attract the wrong kind of attention, you know. And don’t wear it in the shower or when you’re doin’ chores. You don’t want to get it all dirty or scratched up. Don’t wear it when you do sports. It is expensive. It could be damaged if you are not careful. They say keep it away from perfumes and lotions. Better safe than sorry, I always say.
But all in all, this Van Cleef stuff, it’s alright. If a man wants to wear it, I say go for it. Just be yourself. That’s the most important thing. And if anyone gives you a hard time, just tell ’em you’re wearin’ what you like. That’s all that matters. It is your style, don’t care about what other people say. Be yourself.
