Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this whole “cowgirl” thing trending lately. You know, like, Beyoncé’s new album and all that. And I thought, “Why not give it a try?” So, I decided to start with something simple – a cowgirl hat. And where do you go for trendy stuff on a budget? Forever 21, of course!
I hopped onto their website. They’ve got this whole “western-inspired festival collection” going on right now. It’s pretty cool, lots of fringe and denim and, of course, hats. I started browsing through the cowboy hats. They had a bunch, not a huge selection, but enough to make it interesting. Some were plain, some had little decorations, and they were mostly black or gold colors.
I found one I liked – a classic black one with a bit of gold detailing around the brim. Simple, but it looked pretty good in the pictures. And guess what? It was on sale! Now, I’ve heard some people say that Forever 21 stuff isn’t the best quality. Honestly, I’ve had mixed experiences. Some things I’ve bought there have lasted forever, and others, well, not so much. But for a trendy item like this, I figured it was worth a shot. Especially since I got it on sale.
It took a few days to arrive. I gotta say, I was pretty excited when I opened the box. The hat looked just like it did online. It is what it said it is. I tried it on, and it fit perfectly! It has a nice shape to it, not too floppy, not too stiff. I can imagine wearing it to a festival or something, maybe just with some jeans and a simple shirt to add some details.
Now, I know this isn’t some fancy, expensive Stetson hat. I’ve seen those online, and they’re way out of my price range right now. I’m not trying to be a real cowgirl or anything, just having a bit of fun with the trend. Plus, those Stetson hats are like, $120 and up. This one was way cheaper, and it’s good enough for me.
I’ve been wearing it around the house, just getting used to it. It definitely adds a little something extra to an outfit. I even took a few pictures in it, you know, for the ‘gram. I think I’ll probably wear it out sometime soon, maybe to a bar or something. We’ll see how it goes.
