Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get a new foundation for a while now. My old one was okay, but I felt like it was time for an upgrade. After seeing some ads and reading a bit online, I figured I’d check out what Macy’s had to offer, especially since I’ve heard good things about Dior’s foundation.

So, I went to Macy’s website first. I typed in “Dior foundation” in their search bar, just to see what would pop up. They had a bunch of options, different shades and types. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest, because there are so many kinds. The website listed types of foundation like Apparel, Home, Shoes, Handbags, Beauty, and so on. But I was only interested in Beauty this time, so I selected the specific category to narrow it down.
After browsing for a bit, I decided to head over to the actual store. I wanted to see the colors in person and maybe get some help from the staff there. When I got to the beauty section, a saleswoman helped me out. She was pretty knowledgeable and showed me a few different Dior foundations.
Trying Them Out
I tried a couple of shades on the back of my hand to see which one matched my skin tone the best. The saleswoman also gave me a small sample of one of the foundations to try at home, which I thought was pretty cool. After testing them I found the one that match my skin tone best!
Final Decision
After a day of testing the sample out, I went back to Macy’s and bought the full-size Dior foundation. It was a bit pricey, but I figured it was worth it since it matched my skin perfectly and felt really nice. I also bought a new setting powder I found at Macy’s to complete the new make up look I’m aiming for.
All in all, it was a pretty good experience. It took a bit of time and effort, but I ended up with a foundation that I’m really happy with. Plus, Macy’s had a good selection of other beauty products too, so it was kind of a one-stop shop. I will definitely be heading back to Macy’s to refill my foundation in the future and maybe get more beauty products.
