Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing the Hermes Mini Evelyne for a while now, and I finally took the plunge. Here’s my experience.

I went to the Hermes store to buy this bag. You know, before I bought it, I did some research and found that there are four sizes of this bag: 16, 29, 33, and 40, and 16 is also called Mini. The name is TPM.
First off, getting my hands on one was a journey. It’s a popular bag, and they’re not always just sitting there waiting to be bought. I had to express my interest to a sales associate, and then, it became a waiting game.
When I finally got the call, I rushed over. Seeing it in person, it was love at first sight. I chose a beautiful color that I knew would go with everything. The Mini Evelyne, or the 16, is the perfect size for me. It’s small, sure, but it fits all my essentials: phone, small wallet, keys, and even a lip balm.
After buying the bag, I started to look at some details. Like, on the underside of the closure, there are some markings. I heard these include a craftsman’s stamp and a date stamp, which is pretty cool. It’s like a little secret signature.
I also read about the different generations of the Evelyne. The first one didn’t have an external pocket. Mine is the Evelyne III, and it has that handy external pocket, which is a nice touch. The strap on mine is adjustable too, which is great because I like to switch between wearing it as a crossbody and a shoulder bag.

I’ve been using this bag every day since I got it. It’s so easy to style, and I love how it adds a touch of elegance to even the most casual outfits. I’ve taken it to brunch, on errands, and even to a fancy dinner, and it never feels out of place.
I’ve been carrying it around for a while now, and it’s holding up really well. The leather is durable, and it’s not too delicate that I’m afraid to use it. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it, too, which is always nice.
Overall, I’m super happy with my Mini Evelyne. It was definitely a splurge, but I think it’s worth it. It’s a classic bag that I know I’ll use for years to come.
