Alright, let’s talk about them shoes, the jordan retro 5 fire red 2013. Folks been yappin’ about ‘em, so I figured I’d chime in.

First off, them shoes, they comfy? Well, I ain’t no spring chicken, and my feet ain’t what they used to be. But I tell ya, these Jordans, they ain’t bad. I’d give ‘em a good… uh… seven and a half outta ten, maybe. They feel kinda heavy, like holdin’ a brick, but inside, it’s soft, like a fluffy pillow. That tongue, though, it’s thick and cushy, feels nice on the top of your foot.
Now, I heard tell these “fire red” ones, they ain’t new. They been around the block a time or two. First showed up way back in, what, 1990? Then they came back in 2007, and again in 2013. And wouldn’t you know it, they sayin’ they gonna bring ‘em back again in 2025! Land sakes, they must be somethin’ special if they keep comin’ back like a bad penny.
- The Look: They’re mostly white, made of that leather stuff. Shiny silver tongue that kinda glows in the light. And that fire red color, it pops! It’s on the jumpman logo, the inside lining, and that pointy thing on the bottom. Makes ‘em stand out in a crowd, that’s for sure.
- The Feel: Like I said, they heavy but soft inside. Good for walkin’ around, I reckon. But I ain’t gonna be runnin’ no marathons in ‘em, that’s for sure. My runnin’ days are long gone.
Some folks, they complainin’ about the toe part, sayin’ it’s too round and blunt. I don’t know about all that fancy talk. Looks like a shoe toe to me. But then again, what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
Now, about how long these shoes last… well, that depends. If you take care of ‘em, keep ‘em clean and don’t wear ‘em every day, they might last you a good long while. Seven, maybe even ten years. But if you’re stompin’ around in ‘em all day, every day, they ain’t gonna last that long. Nothin’ does, you know? Everything wears out eventually, just like me.
I heard they cost a pretty penny, too. Two hundred and ten dollars, they say. That’s a lot of money for a pair of shoes, if you ask me. Back in my day, you could buy a whole outfit for that much! But I guess that’s just how things are these days. Everything’s expensive.

So, are the jordan retro 5 fire red 2013 worth the fuss? Well, I reckon that depends on what you’re lookin’ for. If you want a comfy shoe that looks good and lasts a while, then yeah, maybe they are. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ cheap and practical, well, these ain’t it. They’re fancy shoes, for fancy folks. Or for folks who just like to feel fancy, even if they ain’t.
Anyways, that’s my two cents. Take it or leave it. I’m just tellin’ it like I see it. These shoes, they ain’t bad. But they ain’t magic neither. They’re just shoes. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. My feet are achin’ just from talkin’ about all this walkin’.
