Alright, alright, let’s gab about this Joey King’s wedding, you know, the one from the TV. Folks are makin’ a big fuss, so I figured I’d chime in, give ya my two cents, even if it ain’t worth much.

So, this Joey girl, she got hitched! Married! To some fella named Steven Piet, a director, they say. Sounds fancy, huh? I ain’t never met a director, unless you count that time the fella directed me to the outhouse at the county fair. Anyways, they had this big shindig, a real hoedown, seems like.
I hear tell it was a real private affair, like Fort Knox they sayin’. Hard to get in, you know? All them movie stars and such. Makes you wonder what they were hidin’, maybe some good eats? I bet they had them little finger sandwiches, the kind with the crusts cut off. Always wondered who had the time for that.
- They say her mama and grandma walked her down the aisle. That’s nice, see? Family’s important, even for them Hollywood types. Reminds me of when my girl got married, Lord, that was a day! We didn’t have no fancy aisle, just a path mowed through the field, but it was good enough for us.
- And get this, they all jumped in a pool at the end! Clothes and all! Can you imagine? Must’ve been a sight. I reckon they were just happy, you know? Sometimes you just gotta let loose and have a good time. Mind you, I ain’t jumpin’ in no pool with my good dress on, no sir.
They had a bunch of other famous folks there, names I can’t even pronounce. Something about a “Bridgerton” star and some fella from “Red, White, and Royal Blue”. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but hey, to each their own. I heard tell Joey had her sisters as bridesmaids, Kelli and Hunter, I think their names was. That’s sweet, sisters stickin’ together. Reminds me of my own sisters, always there to lend a hand, or borrow a cup of sugar.
The whole thing sounds like somethin’ out of a picture book, all pretty and perfect. Makes you wonder if it’s all real, you know? Life ain’t usually that tidy. But I guess that’s what they do, them movie folks, make believe. Still, I hope they’re happy. Happiness is what matters, ain’t it? Whether you’re walkin’ down a fancy aisle or a mowed path, whether you’re jumpin’ in a pool or just washin’ your feet in a bucket, happy is good.
This Joey, she seems like a good girl, down to earth, even with all the fame and whatnot. You can see it in her eyes, I think. A good heart, that’s what matters. And this Steven fella, well, I hope he treats her right. A girl deserves a good man, someone who’ll love her and cherish her, through thick and thin. Marriage ain’t easy, you know? It takes work, but it’s worth it if you got the right partner.

So, there you have it, my take on this Joey King wedding. Nothin’ fancy, just plain talk. I hope they have a long and happy life together, filled with love and laughter, and maybe a few less pool jumps with their good clothes on.
And one more thing, I hear the food was real good, maybe next time they’ll send me an invite, I wouldn’t mind tryin’ some of them fancy finger sandwiches.
