Alright, let’s gab about this Ishod Wair fella and his new shoe, the Ishod 2. Folks are callin’ it his “Sophomore sneaker,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, huh? I reckon it just means it’s his second shoe with that Nike company.
Now, I ain’t no shoe expert, mind you. I wear what’s comfy and what I can afford. But this Ishod fella, he’s a big deal in the skateboardin’ world, or so they tell me. He’s been hurtin’ some, they say, “dealt with injuries,” but he’s still kickin’, still skatin’, still makin’ shoes. Tough kid, I guess.
So, this Ishod 2 shoe… They’re sayin’ it’s got somethin’ called “Air Max technology” in the sole. Sounds like walkin’ on air, doesn’t it? Maybe it’ll help my old feet feel better. They say the shoe is “thin and flexible,” which is good, I reckon. Don’t want no clunky boots on your feet when you’re tryin’ to do fancy footwork, whether it’s skateboardin’ or just chasin’ after them grandkids.

Now, when’s this shoe comin’ out? That’s what everyone wants to know. They call it the “release date,” like it’s some big secret. As of January 11th, 2024, them Nike folks hadn’t said nothin’ official. Just a bunch of whisperin’ and guessin’ going on.
I saw a picture of one of them shoes, a “Wheat colorway” they called it. Looked like the color of wheat, I guess. Nothin’ too flashy, which is just fine by me. I ain’t one for them bright, loud colors. Give me somethin’ that looks like it belongs on a farm, and I’m happy.
I heard this Ishod fella wants folks to be able to buy his stuff easy. He wants a place where you can see all his videos and buy his shoes and whatnot, without havin’ to search all over creation. Sounds like a good idea to me. Makes things simple, and that’s what I like. Simple and sturdy, that’s my motto.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this Ishod 2 shoe. It’s comin’ out sometime, nobody knows exactly when. It’s got air in the sole, it’s thin and bendy, and it comes in a wheat color. And this Ishod fella, he seems like a good kid, wants to make it easy for folks to get his stuff. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens.
This whole shoe business, it’s somethin’ else. Back in my day, you wore what you had till it fell apart, then you patched it up and wore it some more. But times change, I guess. And if these shoes help folks skate better, or just feel better on their feet, then I reckon that’s a good thing.
I just hope they don’t cost an arm and a leg. I ain’t made of money, you know. But I’ll tell you what, if I ever see one of them Ishod 2 shoes in person, I might just try it on. See what all the fuss is about. Who knows, maybe I’ll even take up skateboardin’. Just kiddin’!

That release date will come out eventually, and then all them skateboardin’ folks will be linin’ up to get their hands on a pair of them Ishod 2 shoes. And me? I’ll be here, watchin’ the chickens and waitin’ for the next big thing to come along. Probably another newfangled gadget I don’t understand!
