Okay, so I wanted to try out this Le Male EDT stuff. I heard a lot about it, so I went ahead and bought a bottle. It arrived yesterday, and I have to say, the packaging is pretty unique. It’s shaped like a dude’s torso, which is kinda cool, I guess.

When I first sprayed it on, I got hit with this strong vanilla scent. It’s pretty sweet, but not in a bad way. I also noticed some other smells in there, like maybe cinnamon or something? I’m not really sure, but it smelled kind of spicy. It said it had some mint and lavender, but honestly, I didn’t really smell those too much.
Wearing it Out
I decided to wear it out to see what people thought. I went to a bar with some friends, and a couple of them actually noticed it. One of my friends said I smelled “pretty good” which is always nice to hear. Another friend, she’s got a better nose than me, said she could smell the vanilla and some kind of wood smell. I guess that’s the sandalwood and cedarwood they talk about in the description.
Here’s what I noticed throughout the night:
- It lasted a decent amount of time. I put it on around 7 PM, and I could still smell it on myself when I got home around 1 AM. That’s like 6 hours, which is pretty good I think.
- It wasn’t too strong. It was definitely there, but it wasn’t like I was choking everyone out with my cologne. Some guys like to make a statement, but I like to keep it more subtle, you know?
- The smell changed a bit over time. The vanilla stayed pretty consistent, but the other scents seemed to fade a bit. It became more of a warm, kinda sweet smell towards the end of the night.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’d say I’m pretty happy with this Le Male EDT. It’s a nice, sweet scent that lasts a while and isn’t too overpowering. I can see why it’s been popular for so long. It’s not something I’d wear every day, but it’s definitely something I’ll wear when I’m going out or want to smell a little extra nice.
I’m thinking about trying the Le Male Parfum next. I heard it’s even stronger and lasts longer, but it’s also more expensive. I’ll have to see if it’s worth the extra money. If I do, I’ll definitely let you guys know what I think!
