Alright, so I’ve been seeing these cute little patches on some bags lately, and I thought, “Hey, why not give it a go with my old Louis Vuitton?” I mean, it’s a classic, but it’s been looking a little plain lately, you know?
So, first things first, I had to figure out where to get these patches. I remembered someone mentioning that you can actually get them directly from Louis Vuitton stores. Apparently, they offer repair services and can help you out with stuff like this. I went to the store and asked the staff there, they are so friendly and offered me some really good advice, and showed me some patches that they think is suitable for my bag.
I went to the nearest Louis Vuitton store, and it was a pretty fancy experience, I gotta say. I told the folks there what I was thinking, and they were super helpful. They showed me a bunch of patches, and we talked about what would look good on my bag. It wasn’t free, but it wasn’t too crazy expensive either. And honestly, it felt kind of cool to be getting my bag customized at the actual store, like it was getting a little spa treatment or something.
After I picked out the patches I wanted, the whole process was pretty straightforward.

- and a few days later, I picked it up all spruced up.
They did a great job, the patches look like they were always meant to be there. It’s still got that classic Louis Vuitton vibe, but with a little extra personality. I saw someone posted about reselling and value and whatnot. But, I don’t care about that. To me it is a personalized item now, and I will keep it!
Oh and someone mentioned about other accessories, I think I will try them next time, maybe a cute little charm.

In the end, I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s like my old bag got a new lease on life, and it’s totally unique to me now. I also read from somewhere that some bags increase in value over time, maybe mine will too, who knows? If you’re thinking about doing something similar, I’d say go for it! Just remember, it’s all about what makes you happy and what you think looks good. Don’t worry too much about the resale value or any of that jazz. It’s your bag, so make it your own!
