Alright, so let me tell you about this little adventure I had the other day. I was looking to hit up this spot called “Robbins 8th and Walnut.” Now, I’m not the best with directions, so the first thing I did was pull out my phone and start hunting for the best way to get there.
I started by checking out the public transport options. Turns out, there are a bunch of buses that head that way – the 17, 21, 33, 409, and 47, to be exact. And it looked like a few trains stop nearby, too – the LAN, NOR, WTR, AIR, and CHE lines. So, I had a few options on that front, which was good.
But then I thought, “Why not just walk or drive?” So I looked up step-by-step directions. I found out that it was pretty straightforward, and there are options to add multiple stops along the way. Also, I can see the live traffic and road conditions, which is a lifesaver. They even show you nearby businesses, restaurants, and hotels if you’re into that.
What happened to Robbins Brothers?
I did a little digging and found some news about two of their Pennsylvania stores closing down indefinitely. Apparently, it was reported by some guy named David Chang on NBC. It seems like there is a store at 8th and Walnut (215) 925-1877 801 Walnut St. Philadelphia. It’s a jewelry store, so maybe that’s why they’re called “Robbins Diamonds.”
Then, I stumbled upon some random fact about a guy named Tony Robbins. I’m not sure how he’s related to all this, but I found out that his exact IQ is unknown because he’s never taken an official test. But, given his accomplishments, people seem to think he’s pretty smart.
I also read that the Robbins Brothers jewelry chain was acquired by its management team. Some company called Comvest Partners sold it to the Robbins Brothers executive team. So, it seems like the people running the show now are the ones who bought it. It’s kind of like the employees taking over the company, I guess.
Anyway, that’s pretty much the gist of what I found out about “Robbins 8th and Walnut.”
