Alright, let’s talk about this here “stealth watch”, ya know, the kind they say you can’t hardly see. I ain’t no expert, mind you, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. But I’ll tell ya what I know, and what I think about it, in plain speakin’ terms.

What is this “Stealth Watch” Anyways?

First off, they say it’s some kinda fancy watch, not your regular old tick-tock from the market. Sounds like they make it outta somethin’ called “titanium”. Heard that’s pretty tough stuff, like what them airplanes are made of. And it ain’t cheap neither, I reckon. They talk about “limited edition” and all, only makin’ a few of ’em, like 150 or somethin’. Makes it sound real special, I guess. They got all sorts of colors too, like “grey-blue-grained” and some “warm orange” bits. Sounds purdy, but I ain’t one for flashy things, ya know.

Is it any Good?

Now, whether it’s any good, that’s the real question, ain’t it? They say it’s tough, that titanium thing. And I guess if you’re climbin’ a mountain like that “Everest” they talk about, maybe you need a tough watch. But for us regular folk, I dunno. I reckon my old watch tells the time just fine, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg neither.

  • Tough watch? Yes.
  • Fancy lookin’? I guess.
  • Expensive? You betcha.
  • Worth it? Depends who you ask, I reckon.

Stealth Like a Driver?

They also talk about somethin’ called a “stealth driver” but I think that’s somethin’ different. It ain’t got nothin’ to do with watches. It’s for hittin’ them little white balls, ya know, golf? Sounds like they make these drivers outta fancy stuff too, somethin’ called “carbon”. They say it helps you hit the ball further and straighter. They got all kinds of ’em too, “Stealth 2 Plus”, “Stealth 2”, and even one called “HD”. Sounds like a TV channel to me!

For Who and Why?

Now, who needs one of these fancy drivers? I reckon it’s for them folks who take their golf real serious. They talk about “forgiveness” and “spin” and all sorts of things I don’t understand. But it sounds like some drivers are easier to use than others. The “Stealth 2” they say is good for everybody, even if you ain’t no pro. But the “Stealth 2 Plus”, that’s for them fellers who really know what they’re doin’. They wanna make the ball go just so, and they’ll pay a lot of money to make it happen. They say it’s lighter too, so you can swing it faster. I guess that makes sense, if you’re young and strong enough to swing it fast, that is. Me? I’m too old for that kinda swingin’.

Stealth Means Different Things, See?

So, this “stealth” thing, it seems to mean different things dependin’ on what you’re talkin’ about. With the watch, it’s about bein’ tough and maybe not too flashy, though those fancy colors don’t sound too stealthy to me. With the driver, it’s about hittin’ that golf ball far and straight, and doin’ it with some fancy materials and design.

When Can You Get One?

Heard tell you can get your hands on them new drivers come February 17th. That’s what they’re saying, at least. Don’t know about the watch, though. Probably have to go to some fancy store in the city to find one of them. Not somethin’ you’d find down at the general store, that’s for sure.

My Two Cents

Now, if you ask me, all this “stealth” talk is just a way to get folks to spend their hard-earned money. But, hey, if you got the money to spare and you want a fancy watch or a fancy driver, well, that’s your business. Me, I’m happy with my old watch and I wouldn’t know what to do with one of them golf clubs anyway. But it’s a free country, they say, so you can spend your money however you see fit. Just don’t go thinkin’ a “stealth” anything is gonna magically make you a better golfer or a tougher person. That comes from the inside, ya know?
